Shipping policy
At Nino’s Bakery, we take great care to ensure your cakes arrive fresh, safe, and on time. Please review the following guidelines regarding deliveries and collections.
Delivery Process
- All deliveries are made by hand on the date specified in your order.
- Deliveries are carried out either by Nino’s Bakery team or our trusted courier partners.
- Our couriers will contact you the night before your delivery, or on the morning of delivery, to confirm the location. Please provide the pinned location through the delivery area option in your shop order.
- Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive the order.
- Delivery Window: Deliveries are scheduled between 1 PM – 7 PM.
If No One Is Available
- If no one is present, please contact us immediately to arrange alternatives.
- If the alternative is to provide it with a neighbor or caretaker, we will do our best to leave it in a safe place; however, cakes left at the specific address will be at the customer’s own responsibility.
- As our cakes are fresh, we cannot hold orders for re‑delivery unless arranged otherwise.
Alternative Delivery Location
- We are happy to accommodate the delivery to another address if arranged a day before; however, once the order has been delivered and signed for, Nino’s Bakery is not liable for any mishandling or improper storage at that agreed upon location.
Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders
- If your order is COD, please ensure cash is available at the delivery location.

Important: Please make sure to send us a screenshot of your payment confirmation.
Handling & Liability
- Our drivers are trained in the proper handling and delivery of cakes.
- If a third‑party courier is used, our drivers will provide handling instructions.
- Once the order has been delivered and signed for, Nino’s Bakery is not liable for any subsequent handling of the order. In terms of how the courier provided the order, it is the final status at delivery that Nino’s Bakery is responsible for.
Customer Arranged Courier Collection
- If you arrange your own courier, we strongly recommend booking a van or car (not a motorcycle) to ensure safe transport.
- All orders must be paid in full prior to pickup. Orders cannot be released without confirmed payment.
- Once cakes leave our bakery, Nino’s Bakery is not liable for any damage, mishandling, or improper storage during transit.
- Any issues must be addressed directly with the courier company you have chosen.
- Responsibility for the order ends once it has been collected from our bakery; Nino’s Bakery is only accountable for the condition of the order at the point of handover.
